Our English-speaking representative will welcome you upon your arrival at Cairo International Airport as part of your Egypt and Jordan travel packages. He will assist you with all the formalities, from getting your entry visa to handling luggage. You will later transfer to your hotel to check in and stay overnight in Cairo.

Enjoy breakfast at the Cairo hotel, where our Egyptologist tour guide will meet to take you on your interesting Pyramids of Giza tour: Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure Pyramids. See these stunning structures, along with the awe-inspiring limestone statue of the Sphinx, which stands guard over the entire complex, you will then enjoy a wonderful lunch at a local restaurant, Then, we will proceed to the Saqqara city where one can find the Step Pyramid of King Djoser, The enthralling story about how King Djoser asked his chief architect, Imhotep, to devise for him a radically new type of burial structure that gave rise to the innovative design and building of this famous pyramid, a miracle for those times.

 

We then drive to Memphis to visit the Open Air Museum, home of the gigantic monuments of King Ramses II. After a full day, return transfer to your Cairo hotel for accommodation and overnight.

Take breakfast at your hotel and meet our guide, an English-speaking Egyptologist tour guide. Your first stop would be the Egyptian Museum, considered one of the most important museums in the world, you shall see here a treasury collection of Pharaonic monuments, including the treasures of King Tutankhamun. Go to visit the Mummies' Room-seeing actual pharaohs in their full glory is a sight you shouldn't miss, we will then proceed to Old Cairo to see the Citadel of Salah El-Din, the fort that has served as a seat of power for over 700 years and played a crucial role in the defense of Egypt, enjoy lunch at an Egyptian restaurant before continuing your journey.

 

The afternoon will be filled with the rich Islamic and Coptic history of Cairo. This tour will take you through to the Ahmed Ibn Tulun Mosque, the oldest intact, functioning Islamic monument in the city, showcasing marvelous architecture from the 9th and 10th centuries. Then, you will continue to the Mosque of Sultan Hassan, which is well-known for its simple and cohesive built form and was constructed in the year 1256 AD as a mosque and for educational purposes to the Sultan. A little farther on stands El Refa'i Mosque which is adjacent to the Sultan Hassan Mosque making it one of the most important sites in Egypt.

 

Continue the tour to the Coptic heritage, starting with the Hanging Church (Church of the Virgin Mary) built into the Roman fortress walls and possibly dating back to the 4th century. Then, visit the Church of St. Sergius (Abu Serga) said to be based upon a site where the Holy Family rested during their flight from Herod. Next is the Ben Ezra Synagogue, the oldest one in Egypt, dating back to the 9th century.

 

Finally, take in the lively atmosphere of Khan El Khalili, one of the most beautiful bazaars in the Middle East. Finally, after this memorable tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel for an overnight stay.

You will have breakfast at the hotel in Cairo, then our representative will transfer you to Cairo International Airport to fly to Amman.

 

Arrive at Queen Alia International Airport to be met by our English-speaking assistant, who will assist in all formalities, and obtain an entry visa, and luggage. Transfer to your hotel for check-in and overnight in Amman.

Having your time for breakfast at your hotel, you will be driven to Mt. Nebo, where it is said that Prophet Moses viewed the Promised Land and, upon which, he died and his grave was said to be there, see the remains of the old monastery and the breathtaking view of the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, Jericho, and Jerusalem, Next, we will head to Madaba, home to the celebrated 6th-century mosaic map of Palestine, located in St. George's Church.

 

Later in the afternoon, we will drive to the Dead Sea, a natural haven situated at the lowest point on Earth, known for its special, mineral-rich water, imbued with therapeutic qualities. Indeed, this has become a spa destination, as the concentration of minerals in the mud is used for a variety of cosmetic and health purposes. Both Queen Cleopatra and Sheba were reputed to have known the value of this incredible place. This sea, with its incredibly high salinity, has become known as the Dead Sea, and in it, it is incredibly easy to float. Be prepared for swimming, relaxing in the mineral mud, and revitalizing before heading back to Amman.

Our driver will pick you up in our air-conditioned vehicle to drive you through a scenic 2.5-hour drive across borders to the Rose Red City of Petra, Jordan's largest and most iconic attraction. Petra was established in the 6th century B.C. by the Nabataean Arabs with the most stunning facades carved into the mountainsides.

 

First, at the visitor center, you will embark on a 700-meter walk up to the entrance to Siq—a gorgeously beautiful, 1,200-meter-long chasm, richly painted with different shades that rise way above you by over 80 meters. The breathtaking beauty of Petra, one of the New Seven Wonders of the World, surely amazes any onlooker as one emerges out of the Siq. Its beauty speaks for itself, showcasing some of the top attractions of Jordan. From Petra, you will head back through the Siq, and back to Amman thereafter.
