The Egypt and Jordan tours are an experience one gets on a 14-day extravaganza to discover the wonders of both countries. This tour commences in Cairo, visiting the Pyramids of Giza, the Sphinx, and many other sites, followed by a transfer to Aswan to see ancient sites and cruise the Nile to Luxor. Pay a visit to the treasures of Luxor: the Valley of the Kings, the Valley of the Queens, and the Temple of Luxor.

 

Fly to Sharm El Sheikh and then take 3 days of relaxing on the Red Sea shores: sunbathing or plunging into snorkeling. Continue over into Jordan to see Mt Nebo, explore the Rose City of Petra, and float in the therapeutic waters of the Dead Sea. Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, you will be greeted by a company representative who will assist in all formalities. Then, you will be transferred by a private, modern, air-conditioned vehicle to your hotel in Cairo.

Upon your arrival at the hotel, our representative will assist you with a Welcome Drink while he assists in your check-in to your room. He will also brief you on the programs of the next day. The rest of your day is free of charge to go around Cairo or simply stay in and catch up on rest.

After breakfast at your hotel this morning, your private guide will accompany you to perhaps the most famous site in all of Egypt: the Giza Plateau. Take your time in marveling at the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chefren, and Mykerinus, as well as the famous Sphinx and the Valley Temple. Also, you can enter the Solar Boat Museum, situated next to the Cheops Pyramid. The tickets are available at the entrance.

 

After lunch, you will proceed to Sakkara and visit the Ancient Sakkara Complex and the Pyramid of Djoser, the first pyramid in the world. Proceed to Memphis to see its famous Necropolis, the Ancient Capital of Egypt. This is all part of your enriching Egypt trips. Transfer back to Cairo for dinner and relaxation.

Start Day 3 of the Egypt and Jordan Highlights Tour with breakfast at your hotel. Your private guide and driver will pick you up to head towards the Egyptian Museum, which is ranked among the greatest museums in the world. You will wander in the Treasures Room, which houses the majority of the exhibits that were found in the tomb of King Tutankhamun. You will also get the chance to visit the Mummies Room; tickets are available inside the museum.

 

After lunch, proceed with the tour to Saladin Citadel and the breathtaking Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque. Proceed to Coptic Cairo and view both the Ben Ezra Synagogue and Hanging Church.

 

Your day may end with a walk through the historic Khan El Khalili Bazaar, which dates back to 1382. You will then be driven back to your hotel for dinner and your overnight stay.

Enjoy breakfast in the hotel as you start your day, and proceed for a short flight to Aswan. At an appropriate time, your tour representative shall meet you at the hotel, assist with your check-out formalities, and take you to the airport.

 

Upon your arrival in Aswan, you will be met by your local representative for a short tour to introduce you to this beautiful city of Aswan. You will start by seeing the Aswan Dam on the Nile, proceed to the marvelous ruins of the Philae Temple, mainly dedicated to Isis and Hathor, the female deities; and end with the Unfinished Obelisk, the biggest known ancient obelisk.

 

After this great sightseeing, you will be driven to your Aswan Hotel to check in and enjoy a quiet evening.

The day starts early at 3:30 am on Day 5 of your tour through Egypt and Jordan Highlights, checkout from your hotel, where you can collect your 'packed' breakfast to start, and then take a private air-conditioned vehicle transfer from Aswan to Abu Simbel.

 

Upon arrival, the tour will begin by visiting the spectacular Temple of Ramesses II, which was built to be dedicated to the gods Ptah and Re-Harakhte, Amun-Re, and even to the great Ramesses as a god in his own right, having toured this wonderful site, you will be taken back to Aswan, where you'll embark on your luxurious Nile River cruise ship to enjoy a relaxing dinner while your Nile Cruise adventure gets underway.

You will start the day, having breakfast on board, while your cruise will be sailing to Kom Ombo. Upon arrival, you will visit the strange temple of Kom Ombo, dedicated to two gods, Sobek and Haeroris. Later on, you will take your lunch on board while heading to Edfu.

 

In Edfu, you'll have a glimpse of the magnificent Temple of Horus, the most well-preserved cult temple in Egypt. During the end of the day, afternoon tea and then a delicious dinner will be provided on board while your cruise sails further down to Esna.

Having your breakfast on board, you will start the whole day's Luxor sightseeing with a visit to the famous Valley of the Kings burial place for 62 Pharaohs, the fantastic Temple of Queen Hatshepsut architectural wonder built in the 15th century BC at El-Deir El-Bahari-comes next. The last stop of your tour will be the gigantic Colossi of Memnon.

 

After a great day of sightseeing, it is back to the ship for lunch, afternoon tea, and dinner, continuing this Nile cruise in style.

Your Day 8 on the Egypt and Jordan Tours starts with breakfast on board, leave the cruise, and depart at 08:00 AM to see two of the most iconic ancient places in Egypt, the magnificent Temples of Karnak and Luxor.

 

This tour will be followed by your transfer to the Luxor Airport for a flight to Sharm El Sheikh, often via Cairo Airport. Upon arrival in Sharm El Sheikh, you'll be transferred to your hotel, where you'll be free to spend an easy afternoon and evening at leisure. Overnight in Sharm El Sheikh.

Immediately after having breakfast, you'll start the day with a visit to Ras Mohamed National Park, one of the most famous snorkeling experiences in the Red Sea. You will then dive into the spectacular multicolored world underneath the sea to see the incredible sea life.

 

Later, you will be taken back to your hotel in Sharm El Sheikh, where you will have free time. Enjoy your overnight at the hotel in Sharm El Sheikh.

The entire day is free in Sharm El Sheikh; you can relax and enjoy the amenities and views at your hotel or take the optional tour to the Monastery of St. Catherine, located at the foot of Gebel Musa, Mount Moses, in the heart of the Sinai Peninsula. Dating from the 6th century, this monastery is part of the Greek Orthodox Church and sits atop a beautiful garden, making it one of the notable Egypt attractions to explore.

 

This will allow you to visit its brilliant library with the second-largest collection in the world of illuminated manuscripts after those at the Vatican. Other standout attractions include the Burning Bush, and several antique works of art comprised of invaluable icons, excellent frescoes, remarkably decorated doors, and other incredibly beautiful ecclesiastical objects.

Start the day off early with breakfast, followed by a transfer to Sharm El Sheikh Airport for your flight. Arrive at Queen Alia International Airport, where a representative will meet and assist you to your collection point.

 

You will then be transferred to your Amman hotel in a private comfortable air-conditioned car. Your representative will assist you with check-in and provide you with all details concerning your travel arrangements for the next day, including information about tour packages in Egypt and Jordan. You will have the remainder of the evening at leisure to either explore or just relax in Amman.

On Day 12 of your Egypt and Jordan Tours, enjoy breakfast at your hotel in Amman. First, drive to Mount Nebo Hill, where tradition has it that Prophet Moses could see the Promised Land but was not allowed to enter it, and it is assumed he was buried there. From this viewpoint, you will be rewarded with magnificent views of the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, Jericho, and Jerusalem, along with a visit to a monastery from ancient times—one of the many intriguing things to do in Jordan.

 

Continue to Madaba, the site of St. George's Church with its famous 6th-century mosaic of Palestine. From here, head to the lowest point on Earth, the Dead Sea, where you may take your time to relax and, if possible, take this chance to float in its peculiar waters.

 

Back to Amman, proceed to the hotel for overnight.

Enjoy your breakfast at your hotel before embarking on a 2.5-hour drive towards Petra. The monument is Jordan's most-visited place, while this very ancient city was founded in the 6th century B.C. by the Nabataean Arabs a nomadic tribe that established a strong commercial empire in the region.

 

At Petra, the start of your day consists of a horseback ride through the breathtaking canyon called Siq. You will proceed on foot to Petra's top monument, the Treasury. You will also view the following main sights: the Pharaoh's Castle, the Street of Facades, and the Royal Tombs.

 

Full-day sightseeing and wonder, then transfer back to your hotel in Amman for the night.
