Overview

13-day tour package Jerusalem, Jordan, historically and culturally richest destinations in the world. It began in Jerusalem with one of the most touching and spiritually uplifting enjoyments, such as the Church of the Holy Sepulchre and the Western Wall. After that, visit Jordan, home to the magnificently ornate city of Petra, float in the healing waters of the Dead Sea, and behold the ancient trenched ruins of Ammon. Afterward, the holy land tour goes on to Egypt, where tourists would take a glimpse at the majestic Pyramids of Giza, the Sphinx, and the dark world into which tombs and ancient temples owe their genesis from southern Egypt. As one of the largest and well-preserved sites of Roman architecture outside of Italy, its grandeur is embodied in the colonnaded street, the Oval Plaza, the Nymphaeum, and the Temple of Artemis. From here, we will drive to the Dead Sea, the lowest spot on Earth, whose saline-rich waters have formed the world's first health spa. Skin and mud treatments processed from these minerals have been used by beauty therapists for centuries. The value of the site was known to Queen Cleopatra and Sheba. The salinity of the water excludes any form of life; hence it is called the Dead Sea, which eases floating. Please get ready to swim and relax in the mud before heading back to Amman for an overnight stay.

Climbing out of your vehicle, take a 700-meter walk from the visitor's center to the Siq entrance, a stunning and colorful gorge over 1200 meters long and towering over 80 meters as you walk toward the magnificent Treasury. Once you climb out of the gorge, your eyes are glued to the beauty of the exquisitely awesome Petra, called one of the New World Wonders, and it gives testimony to itself. After your visit to Petra, retrace your steps back through the Siq and return to Amman for overnight lodging.

Meals: Breakfast.

Your guide meets you in your Amman hotel to take your exit out of Jordan through the Allenby Bridge/King Hussein Border. The drive continues through the desert of Judea until you reach the Holy City of Jerusalem. After the panoramic view from the Mount of Olives, we walk down to the Garden of Gethsemane and then the Church of All Nations. In the old city, we view the Wailing Wall, which stands as the last remnant of the Jewish Temple, destroyed by the Romans. If it's open for visitors, the ascent to the Temple Mount to see the famous Dome of the Rock follows. Afterward, we continue down the Via Dolorosa, which takes us to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, where Jesus Christ was crucified and buried. Back to Amman.

Egypt is famous for its ancient historical sites. Some of the must-visit attractions include the Pyramids of Giza, the Sphinx, Luxor Temple, Karnak Temple, Valley of the Kings, Abu Simbel, and the Egyptian Museum in Cairo.

The best time to visit Egypt is during the cooler months of October to April when temperatures are more comfortable for exploring the historical sites. However, if you're interested in diving in the Red Sea, the summer months offer warm waters and excellent visibility.

When visiting religious sites such as mosques or temples, it's important to dress modestly out of respect. Both men and women should have their shoulders and knees covered. It's also advisable for women to carry a scarf to cover their hair if needed.

The best months to enjoy the Middle East tours are generally April and May, or October and November, however this can vary depending on where you're traveling and what you want to do. Temperatures are normally pleasant rather than extremely hot during certain hours, though crowds may be strong at some attractions.

The most prevalent mode of transportation is by bus. In the absence of this, you'll typically find shared taxis or tourist buses running routes to major sights (such as Petra in Jordan). While flying is the shortest way to travel between Middle Eastern destinations.

If you wish to take a big tour of the Middle East, you should plan at least a 10-day itinerary of Middle East Packages to allow ample time in each country. You may also need to allow extra time to go from one location to another due to security and border crossings between countries.
