This 5-day tour to Athens and Mykonos offers a brilliant array of history, culture, and relaxation for one desiring the ultimate Greek experience. The journey begins in Athens, where ancient history will surround you, including famous visits to the Acropolis, Parthenon, and the Temple of Olympian Zeus Next, board a ferry to the beautiful island of Mykonos to spend three days surrounded by picturesque scenery, sandy beaches, and exciting nightlife, wandering its charming narrow streets savoring some of the finest Greek cooking, then relaxing by the crystal waters of the Aegean Sea. This particular tour in Greece marries the very interesting exploration of historical sites with some real chill-out time on the Greek islands for a truly pleasant travel experience.

Arrive at Athens airport, where you will be met by a representative from Next Holiday Travel and then transferred to your hotel. Rest of the day free.

Overnight in Athens.

After your breakfast, you will start the panoramic tour of the Athenian Neoclassical Center: the Parliament, the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, the University, the Library, and the National Academy, the Temple of Zeus and Hadrian's Gate, the Panathenaic Stadium, and many other monuments and sites of great cultural importance. With this tour, you will be joined by a licensed English-speaking tour guide who will tell you everything about their history and background. The "sacred rock" is your next destination: the spectacular, unique, and magnificent Acropolis, with its Acropolis Museum. Both entrance fees are included. The visit will conclude with your return to the hotel or, if you so desire, on to an independent outing through the narrow, charming, and picturesque streets of Plaka.

Overnight in Athens.

Breakfast. Early in the morning, your driver will pick you up by one of our vehicles in order to transfer you to Piraeus port, and from there, you will take the ferry for the famous island of Mykonos. The crossing is scheduled at the ideal time of the day in order to enjoy the sun on deck and admire the deep blue of the Aegean Sea.

On your arrival on the island, you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day will then be at leisure to unwind and get attuned to the slow pace of the islander's lifestyle. Overnight in Mykonos.

Have a good breakfast. It is now a free day to enjoy this beautiful island. Mykonos is an international "jet set" meeting point, famous for its never-ending beaches, wonderful shops, and exciting nightlife. This tiny island has been inhabited since 3000 B.C., standing as one of the most important cultural centers of antiquity. Overnight in Mykonos.

On your agreed departure date, you will be transferred to Mykonos International Airport for your return flight home.
