Your guide will meet you, then transfer you by driving to Dandara, which lies 85 kilometers north of Luxor, where you are going to visit this beautiful temple - the Temple of the goddess of beauty Hathor, a very impressive roof made of stone, subterranean passages, and a great relief which presents Queen Cleopatra IV and her son Caesarian. The Temple of Hathor used to be known as the 'Castle of the Sistrum' or 'Pr. Hathor, a term coined meaning House of Hathor.

 

After Dandara, you will proceed to Abydos town, which is 135 kilometers from Luxor City. In Abydos town, you will visit the Abydos temple, one of the sites where the ancient Egyptians believed the god of the underworld was buried. The Temple of Seti although initiated by King Seti I, and later completed by King Ramses II, is one of the major temples commonly known as the Temple of Seti I. The murals depicting gods and pharaohs within the Osiris Temple at Abydos count among the best-preserved artworks in Egypt, en route to these temples, you will also drive through some local villages and see the stunning River Nile and surrounding field views that are equally pleasant as the temples themselves. Once the tour is complete, you will be taken back to Luxor.
