The journey kicks off with a scenic 2-hour drive along the majestic Nile River to Edfu city, where you’ll have the chance to explore the Temple of Horus, widely regarded as one of the most complete and well-preserved of all Egyptian temples. This impressive temple dates back to the Ptolemaic era, spanning from 237 to 57 BCE during the extended period of 332–30 BCE.

Following the exploration of Edfu, a roughly 1.5-hour drive will lead you to Kom Ombo, situated approximately 70 kilometers south of Edfu. Here, you can marvel at the unique double temple dedicated to Haroeris, the falcon god, and Sobek, the crocodile god, built during the Greco-Roman era in Egypt.
