Located on the southern tip of the Sinai Peninsula, only 12 km from the resort town of Sharm El Sheikh it probably represents some of the most famous dive sites in the Red Sea .The park contains the islands of Tiran and Sanafir, Shark and Yolanda Reefs, and many more beautiful formations. It is so rich in nutrients brought in by currents from either side of the Sinai, that underwater life is abundant, with barracuda, unicorn fish, batfish, and sharks
Hurghada
Giftun island :

And whereas the dive sites near Sharm and Hurghada suffer from over crowding, the Marsa Alam sites, being further from the larger resorts, can be enjoyed without having to constantly bump into other divers.
Elphinstone: is the best dive site in Marsa Alam , The sheer walls of this great reef plunge steeply into the blue, richly decorated with soft corals, sponges, gorgonians and fans. Sharks often swim by the spot to feed on the abundant reef fish population. The northern plateau is home to schooling hammerheads with frequent sightings of oceanic white tip sharks. Elphinstone is definitely a world-class dive site.
Safaga :
The salem express :
Top dive site in Safaga Diving the Salem Express is however a unique experience it is one of the most controversial wreck dives in the Red Sea due to the tragic loss of life which occurred when it sank shortly after midnight on December 1991., Anyway enterring the wreck is stricly forbiden. The Wreck is clasified as maritim Tombe.but going there every year or two is interesting to see how nature slowly regains this tragic place.
Dahab:
Dahab has a huge variety of dive sites, from shallow coral gardens to deep drop offs and canyons. This is what makes Dahab so special, you can explore one type of topography on your morning dive and then see something completely different in the afternoon There are gentle reef slopes and coral gardens for beginners and some more challenging sites such as the Blue Hole
The Blue Hole
One of the most famous dive sites of not only the Red Sea, but the World over is the Blue Hole ‘World’s Most Dangerous Dive Sites’ its inky blue depths have claimed a number of lives, but the Blue hole has several aspects that make it special as it continues to draw divers from around the World to it. A huge circular opening on the reef plate, 150m wide and 120m deep on the inside. It is one of only 3 ‘blue holes’ in the world. At 50m depth, the Arch is a 26m-long tunnel that connects the inside of the Blue Hole to the open sea. The Arch may be dived as an extended range or trimix dive. Glide under the tunnel’s soft coral ceiling and emerge into the open sea. The Blue Hole is a perfect place for a long decompression stop as there is little current or overhead boat traffic. While being in dahab this is definitely a must dive for technical divers
